One of the best things about OoB is the Austin Improv’s supportive community. If you’re interested in housing, join the Austin Improv forum or Facebook group and get to know us! The Firehouse Hostel is also a great choice, located directly next to The Hideout Theatre and near most of the venues. If your group stays in the same common room or suite, you could all bunk together for dirt cheap.
We are currently setting up a system for air port ride requests. Please hold off on emailing us with inquiries until further notice.
Thurs-Mon, you should be able to find pedicabs (bicycle taxis) roaming around downtown. They are fun and safe. There is no set charge but most cab drivers prefer at least $5 per person. Tip well, they work hard and are usually very nice. In fact, many of our improvisers have been pedicabbers in the past.
Cool Ways to Get “Taxis”
We have Uber in this town and it has a friendly and positive track record.
We also have our own version of it called LYFT.
Like Smart Cars? You can pay-for-use for them with Car2Go
