Hawk & Wayne

Improv – St. Petersburg, Florida

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

Inspired by an audience member's suggestion of their place of employment, Hawk and Wayne will take you through an unscripted, hilarious, improvised stream of consciousness complete with bizarre employees, workplace politics and corporate shenanigans with wit, surrealism and non-stop laughs!

Hawk and Wayne combine a unique mixture of the Chicago and West Coast long-form improvisation styles through Hawk’s training at Second City Chicago and Wayne’s training at Los Angeles’ Groundlings. They are currently in their fifth year in residence at one of Florida’s largest Equity theatre companies, American Stage in St. Petersburg, where they have done year long runs of their critically acclaimed shows: The Dumb Show, 321, The Memory, News of the Weird: Live!, and It's a Living!

Big Beautiful Warlock

Improv – Austin, TX

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

Big Beautiful Warlock performs their own modified version of a La Ronde, one of Chicago style improv's classic forms. With most of its players coming from traditional acting backgrounds, BBW likes to focus on creating interesting characters and developing them over an entire show.

Performing together as a troupe since 2011, Big Beautiful Warlock has performed at the Del Close Improv Marathon, and The Out of Bounds Festival. In addition to performing improv together, BBW writes and performs a monthly variety show called Big Beautiful Warriors.

The Starborn

Improv – Austin, TX

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

The Starborn is an improvised, interactive alien invasion. The playful and devious alien twins (played by Mia Iseman and Ryan Austin) land on Earth to toy with the humans in the audience before they destroy them for good.

But just before they blast us into particle dust, they want to get to know us a little bit. Play with our emotions and see up close the culture they've prepared to destroy for centuries. No seat is safe as they work their way into the audience and observe, misinterpret and often abduct anyone that strikes their fancy. Earth is doomed in the best possible way.
