In Our Prime - 1576

With a focus on dramatic improvisation, In Our Prime's stories feature grounded and real life, fully made up tales. In Our Prime believes improv can tell good stories by looking in through the fourth wall, the audience will find the comedy from the real and the dramatic.
They are four Improvised Story Tellers that do not seek out comedy. They trust that just by looking in through the fourth wall the audience will find funny. Instead, they focus on real, dramatic, and complete stories. Our shows are then consistently riveting, be they funny, horrific or heartbreaking. They often have shows that are all three. In this way, they tell powerful tales with many perspectives.

Junk - 1789

Junk will perform one of its signature formats "Story Story." By taking the suggestions from the audience of two distinctly different time periods, Junk will improvise two different stories in those time periods. Bouncing back and forth between the two, Junk will create fully formed narratives that may or may not intersect, but that will each have their own satisfying conclusions.

Junk is an Austin, Texas-based comedy ensemble and a veteran group of Austin's mammoth improv scene. Influenced largely by the teachings of improv legend Keith Johnstone and their own obsession with classic television, cinema and literature, Junk's strengths lie in improvised narrative with rich characters and bold storytelling technique.
Junk has played in over 100 shows since forming in 2005, including appearances in every Out of Bounds Comedy Fest since 2006. Its members include Sean Hill (Hideout Theatre Founder, Director of "Hitchcocked!"), Andy Crouch (Hideout Theatre Education Director, Director of "Live Nude Improv" and "Fakespeare"), Troy A. Miller (Hideout Theatre teacher, Director of "Start Trekkin", member of the award-winning "Confidence Men"), and Ted Rutherford (MerlinWorks teacher, member of "Known Wizards").
