Mac Blake comes from the queso fields of Austin, Texas. He was officially crowned champion in the 2013 Funniest Person in Austin competition and recently performed at SXSW, Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival, San Francisco Comedy and Burrito Festival (he was one of the burritos), and the New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival. Mac also performs sketch comedy with the groups STAG and The Hustle Show and co-hosts the Mascot Wedding Show podcast.

Chris Gaffney is a stand-up comedian, performing a mixture of personal and observational humor that ranges topics from his live-in girlfriend to family relationships and the absurdity of modern life. Fans of central Texas comedy know Chris as an intellectual man with working class values. While he has a background as a former attorney and politician, Chris is far more at home in front of a microphone than a courtroom.

Chris has been performing stand up comedy throughout Central Texas for nearly three years. He has been a regular on Monkeyshine Mondays with Charlie Hodge, Coldtowne Live and Last Minute Live Comedy. He recently spent a month as guest host of The Velveeta Room's legendary open mic and has performed on local showcases such as Chillin' and Dirty Laundry.

Luke McClory - 1802

Luke McClory comments on many of the same issues as a typical comedian, but from the seldom-charted point of view of a positive, up-beat individual. He also does impressions but typically gravitates towards those that are, as he sees it, not performed enough: People such as Bill Pullman (not the guy from Aliens), Bob Barker, and George Takei. Luke McClory also gives unsolicited fashion advice, though this usually occurs before or after the designated performance.

Luke McClory has been performing since 2010 under the name Luke McClory. His genial, take-some-prisoners style has made him a favorite across the spectrum, from grandmothers to great-grandmothers. Luke has been a multi-time semi-finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin and has performed at both the Velveeta Room and Cap City Comedy Club, opening for such headliners as John Heffron and Deon Cole.

Kerri Lendo - 1845

Kerri Lendo got her start writing for her college humor magazine, Phroth at Penn State. Since moving to Austin eight years ago, Kerri has performed on stages all around town and traveled with such comics as Maria Bamford. She has been a finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin contest. Kerri was the co-host of the web show Inside Joke. She's is also an award winning filmmaker.

Coldtowne Theater shows are Marathon-style, each group with 30 minutes of stage time. end to end, nonstop. Audience Members can sit in their chair as long as they like. from 6pm- 12mid with no reservations needed. First come first serve.

So if you want to be sure to see a show you may be well advised to show up a couple shows before the one you really want to see.

All shows at The Velveeta Room are $10.
