My Best Fiend - 1518

Chris Allen and Andreas Fabis will create a documentary about an imaginary film featuring actor Klaus Kinski and director Werner Herzog. Their troubled cooperation resulted in movies like "Nosferatu", "Fitzcarraldo" and "Aguierre" - and we will give the audience a never before seen glimpse into the relationship and work of these two extraordinary men on one of their forgotten films.

Andreas is from Dusseldorf, Germany. He speaks German very well. Christopher is from Iowa. He took German twenty years ago in college....and tries hard to remember how to speak it while performing on stage. Andreas interprets as best as he can.

The Tribunal - 1633

Austin,TX / Tampere, Finland

The Tribunal is a scenario about the mechanics of oppression. Twelve soldiers living under a totalitarian regime debate which of their comrades will be executed for the crime of stealing bread.
How many must stand together to protect the innocent?
This show has only been performed twice before, and the results were...intense for both the performers and the audience. To keep the experience fresh, the cast will be almost entirely new for this performance.

Marc Majcher has been performing, directing, and teaching improv since 2005. In 2012, he brought a unique performance of the Tribunal to Salvage Vanguard Theater, incorporating intense drama and participatory techniques from Nordic-style live roleplaying games.
