Ratliff & Jackson - 1728

This hilarious duo will start with a scene that may wind up being one long scene, or one long scene with tangent scenes, or which might turn into another scene entirely. Sometimes we play three scenes; sometimes we start revisiting them. Whatever it is, it'll be (a) funny and (b) completely made up on the spot. Lisa Jackson and John Ratliff are two of Austin's most versatile improvisers. In addition to playing together in ColdTowne's Stool Pigeon and The Hideout's Austin Secrets, they both also play in Dervish. Lisa teaches at the Hideout Theater, John teaches at The Institution Theater, and they both teach at ColdTowne Theater.

Twilight Zoned - 1820

"Twilight Zoned" takes audiences on a unique journey to another dimension of improv comedy, a dimension where you'll gasp while you laugh, where danger and suspense lurk around every corner, where the ending is a twist you won't see coming. Based on the popular television series, the intrepid cast will take an audience suggestion and use it to weave of tale of the bizarre and hilarious that's right next door.
Your next stop... TWILIGHT ZONED!

"Twilight Zoned" was part of the Hideout Theatre's "Sci-Fi Comedy Double Feature," an entirely sold-out run of 8 shows in 2012 that featured fully-improvised episodes of both Twilight Zone and Star Trek. A unique show, TZ attempted to capture both suspense and comedy, with wildly successful results.
