Unsuspectingly Sponsored By - 1705

(Sketch) Austin,TX

Unsuspectingly Sponsored By is a comedy show about advertising, featuring comedians who happen to work on said advertisements at their "professional jobs." In a show that combines live sketch, improvisation, stand-up monologues and fully produced filmed sketches/commercials, they "pitch" new concepts and campaigns to a client. It's non-consensual advertising.

Unsuspectingly Sponsored By has been featured at the 2012 Moontower Comedy Festival (P. Terry's) and the 2013 ATX Sketch Fest (Hops and Grain Beer). The performers have also performed at FunFunFun Fest, Hell Yes Fest and recently won the 24 hour sketch competition at Austin's ColdTowne Theater.
