Dervish - 1727

Dervish performs improv based entirely in the moment, which means that any description of their set at Out of Bounds is basically a wild guess. Realistic. Absurd. Organic. Interactive. All of these things or none of these things could happen when Dervish takes the stage. Statistically, you'll get a mix of everything. Then again, maybe not. Dervish is Josh Gill, Lisa Jackson, and their third wheel John Ratliff. Between them they have played in numerous groups, including Oh, Science!, The Glamping Trip, and Murphy, as well as in the shows Austin Secrets and Stool Pigeon.

Shades of Brown - 1656

LuchaProv: We all know of the Lucha Libre men and women who fight in the ring each night. They entertain us, earn our respect and become our heroes. But what about their lives after the 1,2,3 count? Watch these titans of the ring body slam everyday life. They take the ordinary situations like grocery shopping or PTA meetings and putting them in a headlock. Every battle, whether it's for the world title or waiting in line at the DMV, is fought with courage and determination. It's a life just like yours or mine but with masks and honor.

Shades of Brown is an Austin based troupe that has been performing together since March 2010. They are best known for their Novela inspired improv as well as their knack for providing the ultimate Chisme (gossip) to their audiences. Shades of Brown brings the party to the stage as well as the drama.
