Austin, TX – Standup

Greetings, From Queer Mountain is an LQBT storytelling showcase hosted the last Wednesday of every month at Cheer Up Charlie's. Hosted by Micheal Foulk and Ralph Hardesty, the show has been around for more than 4 years and held more than 50 themed "episodes," drawing speakers from every walk of life -- comedians, poets, activists, musicians, and anyone who volunteers a story to tell.

We are excited to host a special episode at Out of Bounds!

Hosted by:

Micheal Foulk

Austin, TX – Standup

Micheal Foulk has been performing comedy out of Austin Texas since 2011. He's significantly gay (it's not going to wash out in 2 or 3 days) and he tries to remain aggressively unapologetic about who he is. It's hard sometimes. Micheal served as the artistic director of The New Movement ATX theater for 2015/2016 and continues to teach sketch and improv classes when he has time. Foulk has produced over 50 sketch shows with group Bad Example (2014-2016) and continues to perform regularly with his comedy partner Vanessa Gonzalez as the duo HANDBOMB. Micheal can be seen in the films Meet Me There, Zero Charisma, and The Sauce. Micheal hosts the monthly LGBTQIA storytelling and comedy showcase Greetings, from Queer Mountain (with Ralph Hardesty) at Cheer Up Charlie's in ATX and Queer Film Theory 101 with Alamo Drafthouse. OH he was also featured on Season 1 and 2 of Stand Up Empire. He stays so busy. Willing to work for comic books and beer. Also money.

Austin, TX – Standup

Originally from the Midwest, Ralphie Hardesty is a stand up comedian from Austin, TX. Hardesty has been producing and hosting comedy and variety shows in Austin for years, including the award-winning Encyclopedia Show Austin. Ralphie's storytelling show, Greetings from Queer Mountain, has been educating and weirding out unsuspecting heterosexual Texans at Cheer Up Charlie's for 50 consecutive months.

Ralphie has appeared on many festivals around the country, including Bridgetown, Moontower, Hell Yes Fest, and many others. He has appeared on PBS and Ovation (which is or was a TV station once, I swear), and you can regularly see him as a cast member of the long-running Austin staple, Master Pancake Comedy. His dogs are cute and moms love him.

Austin, TX – Standup

Carina Magyar is an Austin-based comedian, journalist, mother, and aging starlet. But basically she’s just a girl who used to be a boy. Some people find that pretty funny. For everyone else, she tells jokes.
