Brendan K. O’Grady is an Austin-based comedian. He’s been a featured performer at clubs and theaters all over town, as well as at such big to-do’s as The Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival, New Orleans’ Hell Yes Fest!, Austin Sketch Fest and Fun Fun Fun Fest. Brendan also appears every Saturday night as co-host of SURE THING, Austin’s finest (and free-est) weekly stand-up showcase.

Duncan Carson

Duncan Carson is an Austin-based stand up comedian. He has done comedy on a handful of festivals (Moontower, Limestone, Fun Fun Fun Fest, ATX Sketchfest), as well as coffee shops, bars, and what not. He has been a finalist in the Funniest Person in Austin contest. He is the co-founder of SURE THING, a weekly show in Austin that recently also became a comedy record label. He also podcasts and tweets a lot, but he still needs to figure out life.

Ed Hill

Standup – Vancouver, BC

Originally from Taiwan, Ed is an emerging young comic who moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 18 years ago, thinking he was on vacation at his father's discretion.

Since then, Ed has performed all over the world. He has appeared on Bite TV’s “Stand up & Bite Me”, XM Radio’s “Laugh Attack” and Comedy Time TV. He was also invited to perform at Comedy Masala in Singapore, Live Comedy Club in Taiwan, the Hong Kong Comedy Festival, San Francisco Comedy Festival, North Carolina Arts Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, the Vancouver Comedy Festival and many more.

Ed is still currently on vacation with his potato-like dogs.

Casey Balsham

Standup – New York City

Originally from San Francisco CA, with a stint in Los Angeles to study theatre at Long Beach State. She has performed stand up for the last 4 years in San Francisco as well as Las Vegas and Denver and now New York City where she recently moved.

She can be seen on Nuvo TVs Stand Up and Deliver in which she was featured on the first episode, and on Live at Gotham on AXS tv. Women relate to her stories, but she does not ostracize men and leave them out. She has no period jokes.

Gibran Saleem

Standup – Greensboro, North Carolina

Gibran Saleem was born in North Carolina and raised in Virginia in a Pakistani household. He started comedy while attending graduate school for psychology at New York University. While attending school he performed for the TBS Rooftop Comedy College Competition and was individually handpicked as an MVP nominee on a national level out of hundreds of comedians. He has contributed to MTV on their development initiative entitled the MTV Millennial Project and was recently part of the “awkward text” segment on MTV’s “Failosophy.” Additionally, he was featured as the character “Jagbir” on the MTV Desi series, “Writer’s Block,” and was profiled on Canada's B4U channel (not in a bad way).

Currently Gibran is working on web-series that he wrote and created called Hashtag Heroes: A story about two amateur super heroes who decide the take their career to the next level by building a social media presence. His stand-up television debut on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live is scheduled for Spring 2014.

Jamie Campbell

Standup – Chicago, IL

Jamie Campbell was named Chicago's "Best Stand-Up" in 2013 by The Chicago Reader. He weaves unbelievable personal stories through a self depracating lens that often has him becoming the butt of his own joke. Jamie has performed at the TBS Just For Laughs Festival, The New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival, The Chicago Improv Festival, and more.

He is a cast member of 100 Proof Comedy in Chicago and is the host of the critically-acclaimed, uncensored, late-night talk show Talk Hard. Jamie has shared the stage with numerous notable comedians and improvisers, including Tim Meadows, Hannibal Buress, Neil Hamburger and Laurie Kilmartin In addition to stand-up, you can catch him improvising all over Chicago as a member of The Annoyance Theatre's House Ensemble (under the direction of Mick Napier), with ComedySportz Chicago, and as a member of the anarchic comedy group The Stevens Family.

Jamie is also one of the stars of the upcoming feature film Dirtbags, and you might recognize him from one of his roles in commercials for KFC and Cousins Subs, or from his appearance on the widely popular Improv Nerd Podcast.

Kazumi Kusano

Kazumi Kusano, born and raised in Japan, is a stand-up comedian based in Los Angeles. Kazumi won third place for both stand-up comedy competitions: “Walk the Plank 2013,” and Flappers/ “Comedy: Grand Finale Live Show 2014.” She is the undefeated champion of Joke-E-Oke, the joke karaoke contest at the San Francisco Sketch Festival in 2010 and 2011.

Rich Slaton

Standup – Sacramento, CA

Rich Slaton’s act is one where he says words, then they go in your ear and then you laugh with your mouth. Also, he’s pretty. And tall. Is six feet still tall?
Rich Slaton was born in Sacramento, schooled in Santa Barbara and now makes a living embarrassing himself in front of strangers for laughs. His comedy is a tour de force of things you wish you hadn’t heard yet still find uncomfortably and undeniably funny. Since 2008, Rich has played all over the United States and Europe, along with appearing at comedy festivals throughout the West. When he’s not onstage, you can catch him doing play-by-play commentary for the University of Mixed Martial Arts and hosting MMA On Draught for FirstRunTV on Roku.

Rob Christensen

Standup – Los Angeles, CA

Rob Christensen is a Los Angeles comic from Brooklyn. He’s been a skateboarder, rapper, graffiti artist, and Air Force Sergeant but failing at all of that lead him to comedy. Rob’s inexcusable behavior as a kid helped him develop a sharp, smart and urban sense of humor. Rob loves bagels, DMX, Wu-Tang Clan, and tweeting @RobLovesBagels.
Rob is the 2013 winner of the Westside Standup Showdown in Santa Monica and can be seen in NBC’s new season of Last Comic Standing. Check him out at, @RobLovesBagels on twitter, or watch him in QuickLaffs on Hulu. In 2012, Rob wrote and starred in a TV pilot titled Low Lifes and was passed as a regular at the Ice House and the Hollywood Improv. He’s performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, iO West Scripted Comedy Festival, AMFM Fest, Westside Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Comedy Central’s Up Next Tour, SF Sketchfest, Dallas Comedy Festival and Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta.


Coldtowne Theater shows are Marathon-style, each group with 30 minutes of stage time. end to end, nonstop. Audience Members can sit in their chair as long as they like. from 6pm- 12mid with no reservations needed. First come first serve.
