Nerdvana - 1688

Los Angeles, CA

Nerdvana's two-man improv show is a mixture of scenes and personal monologues that keeps the focus on intelligent, sharp improvised comedy, never underestimating the audience. Their scenework showcases their love of history, literature, music and science; their show is E.L. Doctorow meets Cory Doctorow meets the guy who would beat them up for typing that.

Nerdvana has been performing improv and sketch comedy in Los Angeles and at festivals around the country since 2006. Their weekly improv show, "The Sunday Social", has run for the past five years at IOWest, and they host Second City LA's monthly "Sketch Devils" sketchstravaganza. You may have seen/heard Chris or Stephen on "Cougar Town", "The Blind Side", "The Moth Podcast", teaching or touring with Second City or on the front page of the LA Times. They've been seen together at the Laugh Factory, Chicago Sketchfest, writing for the Angel Network's "Twentysixmiles" and performing at OOBs VII-X.
