The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival is proud to announce that Ruby Willmann has been appointed as Interim Executive Producer by the festival’s board of directors. She will assume the reigns effective immediately from festival founder and previous Executive Producer, Jeremy Sweetlamb, who retired following the 2015 Out of Bounds. Willmann has worked for the festival for the past four years, most recently in the role of festival producer reporting directly to the Executive Producer. Her term as interim will run through the production of the 2016 Out of Bounds Festival, at which point Out of Bounds will announce an Artistic Director, pending a thorough job search and application process.
The board has also announced the creation of the position of Business Director, to assume the financial duties of maintaining and executing the financial responsibilities of the 501c3 not-for-profit festival. The Out of Bounds Business Director will handle the finances of the 7-day non-profit comedy festival; manage grant applications and reporting; work to develop fund raising efforts in conjunction with the board of directors; handle taxes; and manage the festival’s monetary transactions.
