Maggie Maye
Maggie Maye uses her charm, wit and backhanded form of observational humour to make you laugh and think.
Maggie Maye has always loved and had a knack for making people laugh. An actress and writer since childhood, she finally decided to try what people suggested she do for her whole life- stand up comedy.
From her first time on stage, Maggie knew she was in love. Since then, Maggie has been called "one of the hottest up and coming comics in Austin." She has had the opportunity to work with some comedic heavy hitters, such as Felicia Michaels, Rachel Feinstein and the legendary Paul Mooney, who not only told her she was funny, but gave her the nickname "Black Barbie."
She's also been a featured performer at the Women in Comedy Festival, the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, as well as the Ladies are Funny Festival.
Previous Festival Appearances:
-Women in Comedy Festival (Boston, MA; 2011)
-Ladies are Funny Festival (Austin, Tx; 2010 & 2011)
-Out of Bounds Comedy Festival (Austin, Tx; 2010)
-Funniest Person in Austin Finalist (2010)
-Funniest Person in South Texas Finalist (2011)

Jake Sharon
I'm a Denver comedian who just moved to Austin a couple months ago.
The majority of Jake's act showcases his carefully crafted jokes and stories, honed through his constant road gigs.
The other 5% of Jake's act is improv. Jake asks the crowd for a negative then he susses out a positive. Since Jake started doing this part of his act in 2010, it has inspired and formed his popular podcast, The Battery Podcast, available on iTunes and Stitcher.

A Jake Sharon show is a lot like the Social Penetration theory. He starts with tales of silly schemes and follies. By the end of his set, though, he has peeled away countless layers and you're staring at the soul of madman- a silly, likeable, madman.

Duncan Carson
Austin, Texas
Duncan Carson can't believe he's getting away with this. He's excited to tell jokes, and his sheepish, conspiratorial grin and tendency to address the audience as "you guys" are endlessly endearing, or so he hopes. His wryly self-deprecating material also involves lots of air quotes. He has a lisp, it's kind of adorable.
