Rogue Improv

Houston, Tx

Rogue performs a version of the Speed Harold which moves the traditional Harold's organic opening and games into a heightened second beat ending on a feverish third beat pace. The result is a compilation of swiftly moving characters and through lines.

Rogue Improv is the Houston house troop with The New Movement Houston. Performing together since 2010 at multiple venues and festivals in Houston and beyond, Rogue earned a reputation as Houston's best long-form improv ensemble (Houston Press 2012). The ensemble has extensive experience on the improv stage including performances at some of the most famous improv venues and festivals in the country, including the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, The Ladies Are Funny Festival, Megaphone Marathons, Houston Fringe Festival, Interstate Fringe Festival, Houston Improv Festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Hell Yes Fest, ImprovWins Conference, and The Moontower Comedy Festival.

Audience of Two

NYC/ATX

Audience of Two is known for sketches by and about two old friends that constantly get on each others nerves. Nowadays though, the guys live in two different cities, which makes it hard to write a show. So they will be performing improv by and about two old friends who get on each others nerves. It's a pretty big departure for them.

Sam Dingman and Ben Masten have been performing sketch and improv together since they were 18 years old. They both studied in New York City at the UCB and the PIT, where they were both members of the late great house team Local 154. They have performed roughly one gazillion shows together at venues all over the country, and are not quite sick of each other yet.
