Drew's Tumbler

(Sketch) Chicago

Drew's Tumbler performs sketch comedy that celebrates the absurd, mocks musical theater, and often ends in violent death. The performers call on their backgrounds as both trained improvisers and experienced musical theater performers to weave together characters, choreography, and the occasional prat fall. If that wasn't enough, they perform a sketch that involves rollerskate dancing.

Drew's Tumbler was nominated for "Best Sketch Group" at the 2012 LA Comedy Festival. They perform at venues all over Chicago, including Chicago Sketchfest, and their video shorts have been chosen to be featured on the iO Comedy Network. All three members of Drew's Tumbler studied improv and sketch comedy in Chicago with both The Second City and iO.

Butt Kapinski

Los Angeles, CA

There has been a murder in this stinking town, and everyone is a suspect. And if you're not a suspect, you might be a car, or a stripper pole. Join Butt Kapinski, poet-detective, in this interactive noir comedy-fantasia. We are all part of the darkness.

Deanna Fleysher is a (non-scary) clown, teacher, and director. Trained in Lecoq-style clown, bouffon, improv comedy and physical theater, she created Foreplay, an erotic improv comedy show which ran for a year at the People's Improv Theater in NY and was featured at the Chicago Improv Festival, and Echo, an improvised rock ballet which ran as a repertory show at NY's Magnet Theater. She created, produced and starred in Kill Me Loudly: A Clown Noir and The Kapinski Private Eye Academy at the NY Clown Theatre Festival. As Butt Kapinski, she performed at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Galapagos, and many other joints around NY. For the past two years, she has been the director and co-writer of Red Bastard, the internationally-acclaimed bouffon show. A recent transplant to Los Angeles, she is artist-in-residence at Artworks Theatre, where she runs the Naked Comedy Lab.
