The moment Kyle & Drew begin their show, you begin to understand what sets them apart from the other two-person shows.

One could throw around terms like 'tour de force', praise their natural chemistry with a combined twenty years of improvisation, or their seemingly telekinetic group mind - but the truth is, you have to see their show to understand. However, if "seeing is believing", you may need to see the show twice. Many first-time patrons swear after the show that they had just seen a pre-written sketch comedy show. Others are so impressed they are temporarily blinded.

When Andrew Hamer returned back to Dallas from living in Chicago and Los Angeles, studying at The Second City Conservatory, iO, Annoyance, and UCB Theatre - he was asked to sit in on an improv show at the Dallas Comedy House. This is where he met Kyle Austin, a teacher and mainstage performer at the club. The two were instantly bonded, and tried to find ways to perform together wherever possible. One night, they got on stage at a jam and performed an improvised monoscene, underscored by Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight". Kyle & Drew was born.

Mary Jo Pehl, with the help of Personal Assistant, discusses her life as a crossword puzzle clue, high profile anonymity, scrapbooking, and her courageous struggle with a debilitating condition.

Mary Jo Pehl has appeared at FronteraFest, LAFF, Austin Sketch Fest and last year's Out of Bounds. She is a writer/performer/producer with Cinematic Titanic, the live version of the Peabody Award-winning TV series Mystery Science Theater 3000, for which she was a writer and on-air actor in the recurring role of "Pearl Forrester." As a standup comedian, Mary Jo has appeared on Comedy Central and A&E, and in stage productions in New York and Los Angeles. She has also contributed to RiffTrax. Jose Villarreal, Miss Pehl's Personal Assistant, is an Austin actor who has been featured on HBO's "Oz" and in Zach Scott's production of "The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee."
