DOCTRO will be performing The Harold, created by Del Close and Charna Halpern. The form explores the audience's suggestion through scenes and games, creating disparate stories, characters and themes that eventually weave together seamlessly.

DOCTRO is a Harold ensemble at iO Chicago that was first formed in the summer of 2011. This group of players bring a fun, game energy every time they hit the stage and are not afraid to explore the absurd. They were recently nominated for Best New Team at this year's Del Awards.

Monks' Night Out Reunion

Monks' Night Out is a troupe of improvising misfits that made their home at the Velveeta Room in the 90s and later spearheaded the opening of the Bad Dog Comedy Theatre. Their daring sketch and improv stylings were additionally showcased for very large audiences at their own festival, the Big Stinkin' International Improv and Sketch Festival, a precursor to Out of Bounds, which was eventually sold to an independent producer.

They haven't performed together in nearly a decade and members have come from near and far to participate in what is sure to be a triumphant stumble down Memory Lane, turning left on Regret Avenue, and coming to screeching halt on Middle Age Cove. If you want to see what kicked off the decade long period of prosperity in Austin improv, you've got to see these guys.
